Inducement prizes provide alternative opportunities to develop innovative solutions by offering a financial reward for completing a specific technological challenge. The topic HOA7 will focus on the development of an eHealth solution that enables citizens to precisely, timely and efficiently assess their food intake and provides optimal recommendations to improve their health and well-being.
The expected result of the eHealth Food Scanner Prize (prize money: €1 Million) is an eHealth solution that enables citizens to assess their food intake and provide optimal recommendations to improve their health and well-being. The solution should benefit a wide range of the EU population, from healthy citizens to citizens suffering from food disorders, obesity or allergies.
The contest will open at the beginning of 2015 and will run until the end of 2015.
