Has a list of 10 resource sites for students and teachers that include educational videos, interactive displays, documents, and documentaries related to social studies and the best part this is all free. This allows teachers, students, and parents to use these resources to get a better understanding about social studies.

Here is presented a great set of online resources that link to pertinent videos used in social studies classrooms. I personally have used many of these sites in my teaching, but this list provides greater depth and explnation to the sites. PBS is a great resource and this post from Mind/Shift highlights a number of their best resources. The grade range spans Grades 2 - 12, with a focus on Grades 6 - 12. Several also include professional development opportunities available online to help with a specific resource.
