When On Any Sunday premiered in 1971, it wasn't just any movie. Directed by Bruce Brown -- who also helmed surfing classic The Endless Summer -- this insider look at motorcycle racing reached a wide audience that was fascinated by the heartfelt stories of real-life riders, earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Documentary Feature. Four decades later, On Any Sunday: The Next Chapter shows that the passion for riding motorcycles is as strong as ever. Bruce's son, acclaimed filmmaker Dana Brown, directs this modern take on the original, capturing what it means to ride in the United States and globally. Shot in 4K Ultra HD, the action and emotion are breathtaking: phenomenal athletes, revolutionary innovators, Hollywood stars and even visionaries who use moto to save lives. On Any Sunday: The Next Chapter journeys deeper into the humanity and excitement of motorcycle culture across disciplines -- the passion for the race, the love of family and friends, and the thrill of the ride.
Can't wait to see this!

Chaz Davies is hoping the influx of the 'Ducatisti' in his first World Superbike race for Ducati on Italian soil will spur him onto good results as he looks for his first podium of the season.
The Welshman has endured a modest start to the 2014 WSBK season on the 1199 Panigale, particularly compared with team-mate Davide Giugliano, and admits there is still some 'refining' to do in order to bring himself up to speed.

MotoGP teamed up with the bwin Sports Girls to produce the official 'HAPPY -- from MotoGP Gran Premio bwin de Espana' video featuring Pharrell Williams' smash hit song.
Riders Andrea Iannone, Sandro Cortese and Luis Salom all make cameos in the video, which was filmed at the Circuit of Jerez.
Not much Ducati content but it's so cute it's about impossible not to smile watching it...

A Newbie On a Ducati Discovers Our National Parks
In July 2013, I packed up my 2004 Ducati Multistrada and hit the road for a nine-day, 2,800-mile adventure across Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. I only had 10 months of riding under my belt when I left, so I got plenty of "last looks" from friends, really taking me in like it was the last time they might see me. "You're going by yourself?!" I think I heard that 50 times before I left. Stuff like that makes me want to share my story with everyone.

Cal Crutchlow broke out during the after race media scrum, also because of a difficult and even dangerous race. “I do not understand what there is to celebrate when you arrives almost thirty seconds off the front – he blurted out, referring to the fifth place of Dovizioso – even if it went better than last year there is very little to be happy with”.

As the weather gets hotter and 2014 summer plans start to solidify my thoughts go back to the first BIG summer event job I ever took on – Zero to 999, Passion In Motion. These days Barber Vintage Festival pretty much owns the fun, family friendly all brand motorcycle scene but it was Mid Ohio Vintage Motorcycle Days (VMD) that invented the genre. I’ve always thought branding a weekend “vintage” that was really all years of bikes was somewhat ill advised but Mid Ohio did it and every year it grew and grew. AHRMA races, the Will Stoner Swap meet, an AMA bike show and “Ride ‘em don’t hide ‘em” ride was all part of the appeal but the biggest thing, what everyone waited to hear, was what was the “Featured Marque” and in 2005, after 4 years of work and begging Ducati owners to restore bikes for the event our 3 days in the sun was here. I guess when you work on something for as long as we worked on this (my employer was the AMA, who managed this event with Mid Ohio) it’s not surprising that it took on a life of it’s own, and in the process changed mine...
