Five days of 15,000 steps days, and here are the photos. The gallery is huge, but it's all cool stuff. (The gallery link is at the bottom of this post) This years show was the biggest and (IMHO) best one in memory. I have included lots of Ducati's of course but everything else as well - a really cool Honda prototype, a super bad ass Guzzi carbon cruiser with the best name ever (Flying Fortress!) and the bike that really stopped me in my tracks, the Husky 701 (I didn't see that till the last day so it's near the end)
The shots are in as it happened order so there's a day of show pics and then whatever party was that night (this show is famous for the cool venues the parties are in, I went to TWO parties in old armament factories and the first one was where Napoleon built bells and cannons) plus some night shots I took when there was a terror scare at the Milan Duomo so the place was almost empty which NEVER happens (I think they are pretty so I left them in)
It was as always a fast forward week of bikes, friends and walking. I didn't have time to caption them so just ask if you see something you want to know more about. As always, feel free to pass the link - this show is pretty damn entertaining, if someone you know likes motorcycles of any kind there is something in this gallery for them.

On the one hand, the idea that Ducati thinks people are so dumb that they can’t tracker-ize the regular Scrambler is pretty insulting. On the other hand, this Ducati Scrambler Flat Track Pro is pretty damn cool. This one got lost in the new bike fray of EICMA a bit, but is well worth taking a gander at.

Okay, so it might be more mountain bike than motorbike, but this funky ‘Fat’ e-bike, built under licence by Italwin, is still a Ducati – of sorts.
The latest in a long line of Italwin Ducati e-bikes, the chunky-wheeled Fat Scrambler, with it s 4-inch tyres should make mincemeat of the daily urban grind, its 250W / 400WH motor helping to get you off the line, and propelling you up nasty inclines with a leg-saving dose of electrickery. When the going gets easy you can employ your legs to keep up momentum. There are six different levels of power assistance, so that you can select the right amount of pedalling help for the conditions, and your lung capacity.
This may not quite be the full Scrambler package, but it borrows the paintjob and styling from the Scrambler Urban Enduro, and will probably be better down your local green-lane, or urban playground.
It’s not the only baby Scrambler we’re expecting to see this year either, with strong rumours that Ducati will unveil a...

Ducati World Superbike Project Leader Ernesto Marinelli was interviewed by WorldSBK.com after what was a season of contrasting fortunes for the Italian manufacturer. On one side, the scintillating performance put in by Welshman Chaz Davies gave Ducati not only their first victory of the Panigale era, but also a total of five race wins and the runner-up spot in the Championship. In the second half of the season, the former World Supersport Champion was on title form as he amassed four wins and eight podium finishes in the last ten races.

At Barbers there are Ducati's pretty much everywhere you look, and that's not surprising because Barber's isn't a festival for any one brand, it's all about motorcycles and no single brand (or country) dominates the mix. It's the most diverse group of biker fans you could imagine, and we took lots of pics of it all. Here are a few of the Ducati's we passes in our travels so far.

The Lloyd Brothers Motorsports Scrambler Ducati is one of the most distinctive motorcycles in the AMA Pro Flat Track paddock, and this Friday, Oct.
An unexpected chance to see the Troy Bayliss Flat Tracker in person. If you are at Barber's on Friday (the only day it will be there) make a point of checking it out. #worththeeffort

The side panel matches the frame, something the Ducati provided photo above doesn't really show. It's striking and I look forward to seeing it out of the nightclub lighting and on a dealer showroom floor!
