I'm sure if I share this with my students, their response will be, "Then why should we bother searching for images that are free to use or share? We're not even going to be making money on our projects!" Interesting point, and one that would make a great research or debate topic.

Fiction & Non-Fiction Twitter Tweet Common Core Activity: Use the Twitter Concept to Make Connections to the Text OK, I have to say first of all I HATE the term "Twitter Tweet!" which reminds me of some out of touch grownup saying things like "FaceSpace" or "MyBook" or the non ironic use of The Internets -- Whew! That being said - this reminds of my Tweet me a Book Review lesson and it's really CUTE! Combined together it could be a super fun activity!

Bobbi is just plain brilliant! I wish I could pack like her! In this blog post she gives great tips for packing light & smart AND terrific conference do's! Of course, I'm a traveling hoarder - I'd rather haul my big bag around & wait at the luggage carousel for my creature comforts than go sleek and fast. But after reading her blog post, I may try & change!

Very specific to my school & district but an example of a digital welcome basket or resource you could create for your new or non-tenured teachers.
