The founder who is working harder than everyone else has already lost.
Hard work is not the constraint at the growth stage.
The company does not need more hours from the founder.
It needs a system that produces results without the founder being the engine.
When the founder is the hardest worker in the building, it means one of three things.
The team does not have the authority to act without approval.
The processes are not documented well enough for anyone else to execute them.
Or the founder has not delegated the decisions that would free them to work at the level the company actually needs.
None of those are effort problems.
They are architectural problems.
The founder who works harder is solving the wrong problem.
The company does not scale because the founder puts in more hours.
It scales because the founder builds something that runs without them in the room.
Work less. Build more.

It is an organization that has never defined who owns what.
The ops manager did not take authority.
The company left it on the floor, and someone picked it up.
The question is not how to stop it.
The question is why it took this long for someone to act.
