"We improve the client’s condition, by meeting or surpassing jointly-established objectives, with indicators of success, and agreement on the value provided in so doing.
We are paid equitable compensation in the form of fees based on our contribution to that value.
That’s it. You need no certifications, academic anointing, or crazy models."

From the website
"It turns out that every habit starts with a psychological pattern called a "habit loop," which is a three-part process. First, there's a cue, or trigger, that tells your brain to go into automatic mode and let a behavior unfold.
"Then there's the routine, which is the behavior itself," Duhigg tells Fresh Air's Terry Gross. "That's what we think about when we think about habits."
"The third step, he says, is the reward: something that your brain likes that helps it remember the "habit loop" in the future."
The habit loop: trigger, routine, reward
Includes a 38-minute interview with author charles Duhigg and an excerpt from his book, "The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business."

As George Michael showed us once upon a time, the easiest way to get other humans to mate with you is to cut up a dance floor or hide in a bush in a random public park at nightfall.
Dancing is a human mating call. This video explains the background.

Sometimes, it seems like all we do is make decisions. Most of those decisions, though, are merely window dressing. This color couch vs. that one? Ketchup or Mayo? This famous college vs. that one? This nice restaurant vs.
Don't get trapped by the illusion of choice. Decide your important decisions!

I remember with crystal clear clarity (not to mention joy and gratitude) the year I quit guilt. I gave it up cold turkey. And my life changed drastically. Years of beating myself up for my shortcomings, mistakes, and failures were erased in the moment I fully understood just how useless guilt is.
What IS Guilt?
Guilt is an emotion that occurs when a person believes that they have violated a moral standard.”
To understand where your guilt comes from, you must first revisit your personal values and core beliefs. You may be holding on to outdated programs that no longer serve you as an adult. You may be giving your power away to a belief system that no longer applies to your life. You need to identify who and what defined the moral standards you believe apply to you, as well as what constitutes a violation.
