En wondergraphs tenemos una muy buena opción capaz de generar informes a partir de los datos que les mostremos, teniendo una versión gratuita limitada a 6 análisis.
Con el constructor de informes podemos seleccionar la plantilla, las tablas, los colores.. todas las variables necesarias para que después, en el editor personalizado, podamos tener el resultado buscado.
Podemos importar datos desde archivos, hojas de cálculo o Google Spreadsheets, así como enlazar con bases de datos...

Nos ha llegado una información sobre una simulación interactiva muy interesante, redpeX.0 nos presenta de forma sencilla e intuitiva una aplicación interactiva que nos permite realizar animaciones y simulaciones e incrustarlas en nuestros portales Web, sin saber HTML5
Así como primera asociación, la educación podría sacar un gran beneficio del uso de esta aplicación, Animation – como ha sido denominada- nos lleva a pensar que la carrera hacia la sencillez en los procesos es la mejor forma de dar rienda suelta a la creatividad y la innovación

First you must understand your target audience. If you're developing applications forkids you must make the application easy to use and easy to understand.
For example,consider eliminating text labels, popup menus, etc.When I started developing "My Little Artist" the hardest task for me was to create thebrush icons. The easiest way was to make text labels.
But if a kid can't read or even if hecan read, can he really understand what I mean by calling a brush "fur"? I think I found agood solution--to draw on icons, things I can draw with that brush. Another benefit ofnot using labels is globalization of the application. There is nothing to translate. And anykid, from any country can use this application. No matter which language he speaks.

Es curiosa la espiral inversa de crecimiento y desarrollo que han tenido los dos más grandes actores de Interneten la actualidad, primero tenemos a Google, por antigüedad y luego Facebook, que si bien apareció con bastante posterioridad al mundo virtual, su crecimiento explosivo, hasta alcanzar más de 500 millones de usuarios se debe a la gran revolución que provocó, al poner a los “medios sociales”• como los nuevos protagonistas de la red.
Este cambio de tendencia no solo ha modificado la forma en que nos comunicamos y los viejos paradigmas del marketing, off y online, sino que Facebook se ha convertido en un serio rival que amenazaba la hegemonía del gigante de Mountain View como rey indiscutible de Internet.
Y los pasos y propuestas iniciales de Google para insertarse y contrarrestar el ataque de Facebook si bien es mejor dejarlos para el olvido, como es el caso de Google Buzz, ha quedado atrás y ahora Google con su nueva propuesta no de red social, sino que de una plataforma que aglutine y ofrezca todo lo que necesitamos en nuestra experiencia diaria en Internet. Toda una revolución mediática… a vueltas con el debate entre la integración y la competencia más feroz, analizando las formas y fórmulas a través de las cuales, Google busca la ¿hegemonía de la red? … ¿aprovechar al máximo la exposición y eclosión social para construir un nuevo posicionamiento social?…
Como sea…lo que es una realidad es que Google ha echado el resto con su apuesta social, una apuesta que a pocas semanas de su nacimiento, ya ha logrado la fidelidad de muchos usuarios.
Una navegación amigable que emula al muro de Facebook, una exposición más clara de las reputaciones personales, los círculos y las quedadas en su apuesta por obtener todas las respuestas a quiénes somos, qué podemos aportar y cuál es nuestro valor agregado, hacen de Google + un gran paso para la red y… ¿un desafío para las redes sociales tradicionales?.
Ahí queda la pregunta en el aire si bien una de las grandes ventajas de Google + es la cobertura del “-1”… tan aclamada por quienes buscaban el “no me gusta” y con ella, nos adentramos en las aplicaciones, trucos y consejos para hacer de la experiencia social un plus.

With over 1,000,000 registered applications and 750,000 developers building on the platform today, we needed a new home to support the Twitter community better. So, we listened to everyone and gathered your ideas. The new site enhances communication channels, offers improved reference material and documentation, and will foster better interaction for everyone who visits it. As you dive in, you’ll notice a number of changes. We focused on tightly structuring the content so it is more easily discoverable and understandable. Muchos usamos tweetdeck para consultar y actualizar nuestras redes sociales, aunque no es una herramienta tan intuitiva como la que os presento hoy: MultiMi.
Disponible solo para Windows, es capaz de gestionar mensajes, fotos, eventos, contactos, multimedia, emails… todo con un sistema de importación y sincronización de datos muy sencillo de utilizar.

For the last few months, I’ve become a fan of Tumblr, visiting and adding content to my blog nearly every other day. What’s great about Tumblr is that, similar to Twitter, you can reblog posts by other members of the site, particularly the people you follow. This helps keep your own blog fresh with content without you having to always develop it yourself. On the other hand, you might find yourself becoming a Tumblr-er who reblogs more than you create original content.
If you’ve been on Tumblr for a while, head over to tumblrcloud and have the application generate a cloud of words you blog most about. When the cloud is posted to your Tumblr blog, it will include your total number of original posts and reblogs.

Mucho se ha hablado de Google más durante las últimas semanas… el debate permanente sobre si se trata de una acción que busca acaparar el “poder social” o si por el contrario, el buscador por excelencia persigue la integración en el entramado actual trasformándose en una plataforma imprescindible para quienes buscan mejorar la presencia de su marca.
Lo que parece cierto es que en Google + se intercalan a la perfección las facetas públicas y privadas, logrando una plataforma muy maleable que nos permite seguir ahondando en los usos de mayor creatividad.
Es bien cierto que Google + persigue transformarse – al igual que Facebook y twitter- en una plataforma con gran potencial, no en vano ya se teme que ésta nueva funcionalidad del buscador se transforme en una amenaza real para el entramado actual.
Pero no es sólo una red social, Google + puede transformarse en un portal educativo, una herramienta de podcasting o un blog de empresa pero… ¿cómo lograr extraer las unidades creativas e innovadoras que subyacen en Google+ y que sustentan la nueva red social?

Knovio es una fantástica herramienta que nos permite realizar presentaciones usando el vídeo como protagonista.
La idea es poder mostrar un vídeo y una presentación de forma simultánea, sincronizando los momentos para que aparezca el contenido adecuado en el momento que lo deseemos.
En el ejemplo que podéis ver en su página principal vemos como uno de los responsables por el sistema aparece en un vídeo comentando sus funciones al mismo tiempo que una presentación online avanza mostrando el texto que el presentador anuncia. Os dejo con el aspecto interno, cuando la presentación ya está cargada y podemos empezar a grabar el vídeo.

me gustan mucho sus recopilaciones de herramientas. En esta ocasión ha
publicado una recogiendo las, según su opinión, mejores herramientas 2.0
que ha probado con sus alumnos durante este año 2011. Algunas de ellas
he tenido ocasión de probarlas, pero gracias a esta entrada, probaré
algunas que desconocía.
educaplay (ya he hablado sobre ella y me parece realmente buena)Se pueden crear un buen número de ejercicios e insertarlos en blogs y wikis. Estos incluyen adivinanzas, crucigramas, rompecabezas, Sopa de letras, de relleno de textos, diálogos, dictados. Por lo menos en algunos de los ellos, incluyendo el dictado, se ofrece la posibilidad de grabar audio.
tildee permite crear muy fácilmente y paso a paso un tutorial para casi cualquier cosa. Puedes añadir texto, mapas, videos y fotos (por desgracia, sin embargo, sólo se puede subir fotos - no pegarlas de la Web). No hay que registrarse en el servicio para crear el tutorial. Me parece genial tanto para profesores como para que los propios estudiantes creen tutoriales.

Su uso es muy sencillo, basta con que tengamos nuestra cuenta gratuita y programemos nuestro próximo typecast. Ya cuando estemos en la fecha programa y estemos preparado, facilitaremos una URL especial por el que nos podrá ir preguntando y nosotros iremos respondiendo aquellas preguntas que queramos.

Social Media has become part of our daily life, we use facebook, Google+, twitter and lot more to talk to our friends, family and even strangers at times. But do you know how many statuses or photos are updated every 60 seconds. It’s enormous. 695,000 status update on facebook, 370,000 minutes of voice calls, 98,000 tweets and 600 new videos are uploaded every 1 minute. That’s not all there are lot more new blogs posts and emails sent during the same 60 seconds.

Estamos acostumbrados a proyectos como about.me, donde cualquiera puede crear una pa´gina web de presentación personal en pocos minutos.
App.net hace algo parecido, pero para aplicaciones, no para personas.
Podemos, en cuestión de segundos, tener una sección personalizada para divulgar nuestra aplicación, con imágenes, descripciones y datos que ayuden a entender sus funciones.
Un proyecto de los creadores de PicPlz que puede ayudar mucho a quienes realizan apps para teléfonos móviles, por ejemplo, ya que las aplicaciones web suelen tener su propio sitio en Internet.

One of the advantages to using WordPress is its sheer flexibility. Version 3 introduced the concept of Custom Post Types to extend the built-in functionality.
Let’s take a look today at what you could do with them, as well as a quick practical example of how to create an events listing using a Custom Post Type called Event.
What Are Custom Post Types?
Typically, a WordPress blog consists of three types of content – blog posts, blogroll links, and static pages. Most of us are familiar with the fact that pages should be used for things like about me or contact information, whilst regular posts go to your blog. But beyond that, what if you want to add another special kind of content that doesn’t really fit into the chronological order of the blog and certainly isn’t static – like events? That’s where custom post types come in.

KeePass is a free open source password manager, which helps you to manage your passwords in a secure way. You can put all your passwords in one database, which is locked with one master key or a key file. So you only have to remember one single master password or select the key file to unlock the whole database. The databases are encrypted using the best and most secure encryption algorithms currently known (AES and Twofish).
KeePass is really free, and more than that: it is open source (OSI certified). You can have a look at its full source and check whether the encryption algorithms are implemented correctly.
