On April 13, 2007, the plaintiff Alfred Wiggins, Jr., filed suit against the defendants, Bridgewater State College (BSC) and Dr. Grace Seibert-Larke, following an incident on April 15, 2004 in which BSC police officers transported Wiggins to Brockton Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation. The complaint consists of ten counts, which include claims alleging negligence, negligent infliction of emotional distress, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false imprisonment, and a violation of the Massachusetts Civil Rights Act.
