Members of unions representing workers at Tunisie Telecom, the Tunisian telecommunications operator, staged a sit-in last Wednesday at the company’s headquarters in Tunis, demanding the administration clear up rumors that the Emirati part-owner of the company intented to dismiss more than 3,500 workers.
