Is online learning the future of education? Based on my experience as a learner and teacher in development, one challenge that we should assume is the online learning revolution. In spite of the plenty of benefits can bring online education such as the facility to take courses in your home or other higher education learning institutions for credit and the certification for certain skills, including online certification, once people have started their working careers. I consider that online learning is not as strong as formal, traditional learning in a classroom. Although online courses are no better than physically attend class since my point of view, it is crucial to mention that technological tools must be incorporated in classes to promote a more manageable and accessible learning process. On the other hand, regarding online learning, it is true that a large number of countries have made significant progress in their provision of basic education to all citizens, but there are still too many people – often living in remote areas – who can not access education or who can not access to internet. To conclude, instead of worrying whether or not online education can ever be as good as more traditional formats, perhaps I should instead focus on how I can use it to deliver quality education. "The obstacles are real but not insurmountable. And the opportunity to make good on the promise of education for all is too big to miss." 1
