There is an approach to solving a problem, by Guy Brousseau. It looks much like this process.And it works!

and ask indviduals questions every 2-3 minutes - but always label the behaviour first! so it is a positive experience not a catching out!!

Thinking is not driven by answers but by questions. Answers often signal a full stop in thought. This is why it is true that only students who have questions are really thinking and learning. |
