I wish we had a class in digital literacy, because these 63 points could be the bedrock of the curriculum. In the meantime, I will be sharing this list with my Library Advisory Board. I'd love to see them develop short videos for our TV news on specific topics or infographics to display in the library.

Deals to ed tech startups are rebounding after a dip in 2016 ended a three-year growth streak. Among the most high-profile recent rounds, in April, DC-based broad online learning platform EverFi raised a $190M Series D round from investors including Jeff Bezos and Eric Schmidt. It is among the largest ed tech rounds of the last two years. We used CB Insights data to identify 90+ of the most well-funded private companies working specifically on ed tech and divided them into the 14 main categories in which they operate.
