Google pousse Microsoft à accélérer sa mise à jour Flash - Sécurité
Adobe a livré hier une mise à jour surprise pour corriger 25 vulnérabilités critiques dans son player Flash. L'éditeur, qui a classé le correctif en «Priorité n°1» dans son système de notation à trois niveaux, a vivement incité les utilisateurs de Windows à appliquer le patch au cours des prochaines 72 heures. Le classement en «Priorité n°1» signifie que le lecteur contient des «vulnérabilités ciblées, ou ayant un risque plus élevé d'être ciblées par un ou des exploit(s) sauvages ».

The Adobe fix aims to cure a vulnerability in all versions of the player, but has so far been used only to attack Windows systems using Internet Explorer.
Adobe pushed an emergency patch Friday for its Flash Player to fix a flaw that's being actively exploited to attack computers running Windows.
Meanwhile, software writers are still scrambling to fix a vulnerability, made public earlier this week, in PHP, a scripting language which is used widely to run servers on the Web, including those of Facebook.

WordPress installations received a security upgrade on Friday to patch a number of vulnerabilities.
The update to version 3.3.2, as well as 3.4 Beta 3, fixes issues in file uploaders Plupload and SWFUpload, and Adobe Flash embedding tool SWFObject. The new version also comes with fixes for several privilege escalation and cross-site scripting bugs.
Cyber criminals heavily use vulnerable WordPress sites to spread malware, and they may have been utilized in the recent Flashback trojan attacks on Mac OS X systems.

With the recent glut of high profile Mac-based malware like MacDefender and Flashback, it’s easy to forget that Macintosh computers (and Mac malware) have been kicking around for more than thirty years – longer, even, than Windows malware.
In fact, the first documented Mac virus actually predated some of the first PC viruses by a good four years. While conventional wisdom has always assumed that Macs are inherently safer than PCs, wider adoption of Macs in recent years has given rise to new and more sophisticated threats, with many suggesting that Apple’s honeymoon with malware authors may be over.
As this slideshow of Mac Malware through the years shows, however, Apple machines are no strangers to malicious software.
