This advertisement targets nurses and doctors and introduces a system that allows them to sign up for shifts that they want.
The Internet transforms the work environment in many ways by providing workers with resources to make their every day lives easier. Doctors and Nurses, especially when working in the Emergency Room, can get called in at any time. Before the Internet, there was no way for doctors to have access to the main schedule. Changing shifts would also require contacting the main desk, who would have to contact other doctors or nurses, and report to who ever wanted to change his or her shift whether or not the switch would work. Now, the Internet allows for everyone to have instant access to the shift schedule and offers the options for people to communicate with the touch of a button. This can save time, money, and more importantly - lives.
