Pamela Alaniz's curator insight, May 12, 2019 10:06 PM
This website offered a variety of tools to teach someone of the uses of Google. The videos were excellent and very informative, the resources in which you can go back and look over materials to help incorporate with the use of Google was useful and teachers would benefit if they take a little bit of time and look over some of the material. Having available resources on hot to teach digital skills to students will only further help your instruction be more student-centered as kids rely more on their own intuitions and act on their own initiatives when doing their assignments.

Google Launches First-Ever Game Based on Google Search Trends

Google Launches First-Ever Game Based on Google Search Trends | Moodle and Web 2.0 | Scoop.it
How much do you know about this year’s top search trends?

Test your knowledge of Google Search in 2018 by taking the new ‘Game of the Year’ quiz.

Every year Google releases a roundup of top search trends, but this is the first time the company has developed a game based on search data.

The way it works is simple:

Answer a series of questions about this year’s trending searches
Collect points for correct answers
Unlock harder questions by progressing through the game
A special bonus round at the end ups the difficulty even more
After three wrong answers, it’s game over
