This is great for students who can use an and iPad to allow them to "hear" a message, set of instructions repeatedly, or repeat passages for memorization. Definitely something for Special Needs students too.

A super easy way to create a photo presentation with the new service Parade. You do not even need to register. Just upload your photos from Dropbox, Box or your computer and share your album with anyone! You may choose if it is public or private.

QuickPics Photo Manager allows you to take a pic, name it, tag it (virtual album) and then quickly and easily find it by using the search bar and sort features. You can even name and/or tag the pics already on your device.

I like Edmodo as a tool for younger students but I'm not sure I want to introduce this into my classroom at the moment. I'm happy with how my learners are interacting and progressing in the online world.

What could your students create in 6 seconds with Vine? More than you might think. This post by Shelly Terrell shares over 22 ideas to help get your students creating Vines as well as information that is key to being successful. One example...did you know that students must be over 17 to have a Vine account? This means that most teachers would have to create a classroom account (and probably check your Acceptable Use Policy and get parents permission). The good news is that you can create an account that would only allow parents and students from your classroom to view the Vines. Many additional resources are shared within the post including a recorded webinar by Turrell and also download her slides.
