This article is about the two companies, Tabtor and Via Afrika, working together to improve math performances in South Africa. Tabtor, a tablet-based learning solution announced a partnership with Via Afrika Publishers, a leading publisher of textbooks and materials in South Africa. The Via Afrika Tabtor Math program will be available in South Africa for students in grades R through 8 and it will follow the South African curriculum. They will make this technology available on both IOS and Android tablets. The CEO of Tabtor India said, “the availability of Tabtor on Android tablets significantly enhances our ability to reach all students across the world and make it available for both consumers and schools at very affordable levels.”

This article helps me relate to the issues in Africa that we studied. One of the issues in Africa is education. I read that people in Africa sacrifice for their children to go to school because they believe that it can make their childrens’ lives better. I think it is great that they are working together to improve the education for kids in South Africa and is also based on the South African curriculum. This would give many kids the opportunity to work with technology and improve their math skills. I am happy to know that it will reach the students across the world and at affordable levels.
