Trust it! Why not? With a cloud service there is certainly less internal politics. Especially in smaller companies (SMBs) IT departments can be a bit too intrusive, or let me change that, feel like they can be.

Google Drive with its many functionalities works now the best for me. For example collaboration on documents is very smooth, think about many combinations: teacher-student, student-student, supervisor-supervisee...

Data stored on cloud is safe from hard drive crash and theft and you can access your data anywhere across the globe as long as you have an internet connection. Cloud acts like a storehouse for unlimited data digitally.
