L’Algérie fait face à un sérieux problème, à savoir, le phénomène de l’envasement. En effet, le volume de vases qui se trouve dans les 80 barrages à travers le pays représente 1,2 milliard de m3, soit, 13% des capacités globales de stockage, estimées à plus de 7 milliards de m3, a fait savoir, Ouglaouane Mourad, coordinateur principal à l’Agence nationale des barrages et Transfert (l’ANBT).

Le ministère de l’Agriculture et du Développement rural et la Direction générale des forêts (DGF), ont décidé le 17 juin à M’sila, à l’occasion de la célébration de la journée internationale de la lutte contre la désertification, de lancer « l’initiative nationale pour la restauration du barrage vert » et de réfléchir au financement du Fonds vert climat (FVC), a indiqué mardi dans un communiqué la DGF.
