The world’s largest project on olive groves finds that adopting nature-positive farming practices increases local biodiversity and profits for farmers. The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) officially announced, on Friday 9 July 2021, the creation of a Mediterranean Day. From now on, it will take place every 28 November with the aim of "fostering a common Mediterranean identity, while promoting intercultural exchanges and embracing the diversity of the region", as the UfM states.
