Random thoughts may gain second place when your thought process is already focused and fluent. However, they should not be ignored but rather noted down. You can always come back to them at a later time, you don’t have to force them into your projects. At a later time when you develop other projects they can be gold and gain a primary place in your outline.
I like the tip to brainstorm with different people because I think it helps wih time management and productivity. All of these tips can be helpful in any scenario especially decision making.
