Miguel Chevalier crée l'évènement sur les Chemins de St Jacques de Compostelle : des rosaces, renouvelées à l'infini, vitraux flamboyants projetés sur une grande sphère gonflable suspendue dans les airs, dans la nef de l'église d’Aurens. Les rosaces se génèrent et évoluent à l’infini de manière aléatoire.

Du jeudi 17 mai au dimanche 17 juin, cette sphère de lumière créera dans l'église une atmosphère magique, nous entraînant dans un monde imaginaire. nous rappelleront les grands vitraux du Moyen-âge et leurs couleurs éclatantes. Leurs formes sont poussées à l’extrême de leur géométrisation. Elles rappellent les grandes rosaces de l’art gothique flamboyant qui s’inspire du monde végétal.

NodeBox is a Mac OS X application that lets you create 2D visuals (static, animated or interactive) using Python programming code and export them as a PDF or a QuickTime movie. NodeBox is free and well-documented.

Seb is a digital media consultant and founding partner at award-winning agency Plug-in Media. He specialises in programming creative visual effects and interfaces for games, physics, motion detection, 3D and visual effects (like particle systems). His work has pushed the boundaries of what is possible both on and off the web, and won a BAFTA for the Plug-in Media project Big and Small for the BBC. Iain is a freelance Flash games developer and designer, and a 9 year veteran of London digital agencies. Until early 2009, Iain was Head of Interactive at award-winning studio Bloc, where he co-created some of the best-loved games on the web, including ZW0K!, Stackopolis, Pop Pirates and Meta4orce. Along the way his work has picked up awards and nominations from the likes of BAFTA, theFWA and Cannes Lions, with Stackopolis winning the 2006 Webby award for best game. Iain recently contributed the technical review to The Essential Guide to Flash Games (by Jeff and Steve Fulton) and regularly speaks at Flash user groups and conferences such as Flash on the Beach, dotBrighton and London Flash Platform User Group. Its objective is to focus on various artistic and architectonic disciplines, in relation to the technologies of communication and information and the digital world.

The development of technologies -first electronic and then digital- in all the fields of contemporary life, has been transforming the socio-cultural contemporary panorama for decades now. Within this context of growing diversification and intensification of the technologies of communication and information, the artistic practices have also turned to technology to find their means of creation and reflection. This process has given a rise to the transformation of the traditional notion of art and its models of production and distribution, representation and reception, imaginaries, iconographies, etc.

ChucK is a new (and developing) audio programming language for real-time synthesis, composition, performance, and now, analysis - fully supported on MacOS X, Windows, and Linux. ChucK presents a new time-based, concurrent programming model that's highly precise and expressive (we call this strongly-timed), as well as dynamic control rates, and the ability to add and modify code on-the-fly. In addition, ChucK supports MIDI, OSC, HID device, and multi-channel audio. It's fun and easy to learn, and offers composers, researchers, and performers a powerful programming tool for building and experimenting with complex audio synthesis/analysis programs, and real-time interactive control.

Google Mapper is a lightweight library that enables you to download images of any size from Google Maps. For instance, check this large and beautiful image I extracted using GoogleMapper. In addition to the download feature Google Mapper also permits you to transform geocoordinates into euclidian (x and y) coordinates and vice-versa.

Theodore Watson is an artist, designer and experimenter whose work is born out of the curiosity and excitement of designing experiences that come alive and invite people to play. Theodore’s work ranges from creating new tools for artistic expression, experimental musical systems, to immersive, interactive environments with full-body interaction. His recent work includes the Eyewriter, an eye controlled drawing tool, Graffiti Research Lab's Laser Tag, laser graffiti system and Funky Forest, an immersive interactive ecosystem for young children. Theodore works together with Zachary Lieberman and Arturo Castro on openFrameworks, which is an open source library for writing creative code in C++.
