What is their deal with THIS move?  Recap for the new-to-Big G-news folks; Cybergun has a new management team with new ideas.  But what do you gain by snapping up Shorty USA which has been closed/hold-mode since last year…and the EU site, too?  Why not just go new-school and build a new storefront?  And DIRECT sales….that’s gonna make some of you biz-guys pretty unhappy.

Whad’da Ya Say, airsoft?  We know the new guys are watching, and perhaps they’ll jump in here and explain, as they seem to be pretty open to communications with players and setting a new tone…

MAN OH MAN! This is turning out to be the data-dump-day for information about BO Manufacture's 'revolutionary' MTO Phantom magnetic airsoft system!  We also just got pointed to THIS VIDEO BELOW from the IWA Show Airsoft Meetup by our media buddies at AIRSOFT DB from Sweden!  And...this presentation from BO's CEO Eric Gauthier is in English, and goes over some more tantalizing details about the new guns, now in testing in France!

NOW WE'RE TALKING! JB Airsoft interviewed Eric Gautier, the founder of BO MANUFACTURE back in February, and the always-helpful French ThumpKeteers who turned us on to this vid just minutes after the post below (and, a dose of High School French plus GOOGLE TRANSLATE/YT Auto-Translate!!) will help us all know a little bit more about the enigma that is the MTO Phantom magnetic system gun!

There are MANY MANY details under wraps on the super-secret MTO “magnetic” system guns still in testing by BO Manufacture in France. But, the link below to their Facebook page has cracked the lid open a little more, as player “Gary Wyborn” (who seems to be based out of the UK and plays in the EU a bit)  is getting official on-the-record answers to questions a lot of guys are asking.

We have previously reported that BO Manufacture has shown off prototypes at recent shows in the EU.  Still, this publicity-secrecy gig’ seems more like an espionage mission into-the-heart of darkness than it probably needs to be.  Come on.  Protect your product with legal/trademark and trade dress/patent and lets gets these rolling off the production lines so we can all judge for ourselves…

CYBERGUN has announced a reorganization of its USA based businesses among other topics covered with a release/presentation from France this morning…NEWS LINK HERE, turn on your native translation…and a second News Link HERE

As this announcement comes directly after the IWA Show in Germany, there seems to be some major hurdles still ahead for the re-grouping effort for airsoft’s biggest public company.  Also included in the announcements were issues with their plans to bring .22cal real steel training guns online…and the loss of a large customer (WalMart, perhaps?) that accounted for more than 30% of their USA business…but at the same time an apparent announcement of new sales to TARGET stores starting soon…
