Ricardo Escudero Viñas | Minister Florencio Randazzo rolled out late July a new rail passenger service between Buenos Aires and the city of General Pico in La Pampa.

 

Since two years a go Minister of Interior and Transportation, Florencio Randazzo is leading a program for re-launching railway transportation as the main transportation system for passenger and freight in Argentina with a massive investment in refurbishment of infrastructure and new rolling stock.

by Ricardo Escudero Viñas | Minister of Transportation Florencio Randazzo received early September the first set of five trains for Mitre Line made in China by CSR.

 

Minister Randazzo is leading a huge program for rail transportation in Argentina.

By the end of 2014, 30 new EMUs will arrive for the new fleet for Mitre Line.

Ricardo Escudero Viñas | Minister Florencio Randazzo signed late July an agreement with state owned company “Fabricaciones Militares” to build 1050 new rail freight cars for “Trenes Argentinos Cargas y Logística”.


Minister of Interior and Transportation, Florencio Randazzo is leading a plan to modernize rail freight transportation in the short term in Argentina. New wagons will be delivered in 22 month.

Ricardo Escudero Viñas | On July the 21th Minister Florencio Randazzo rolled out the first 7 sets of 9 car EMUs for the busiest commuter line in the Buenos Aires region. The electric cars where built in China by CSR Sifang with Mitsubishi traction and Knorr-Bremse braking. The total investment plan for 25 units of 9 cars is USD 286 M

 

Since two years ago the Minister of Transportation Argentina Florencio Randazzo is leading a massive investment plan for commuter, regional and freight rail transportation in Argentina.

Ricardo Escudero Viñas | Minister Florencio Randazzo received in the port of Buenos Aires early August the last batch of 8 EMUs built in China by CSR Sifang for the commuter line Sarmiento in Buenos Aires.

 

Complete modernization of rolling stock for Sarmiento Line started 12 month ago by Minister of Transportation, Florencio Randazzo, will be completed in September 2014 with 25 new trains 9 car each.
