Mobile payment service Payconiq is relocating its headquarters to Luxembourg as it seeks to expand in Europe.
The company, which handles online, on-the-go and direct payments, will move its HQ from Amsterdam where it was founded in ING's innovation hub.
"The relocation of our headquarters to the heart of western Europe is a new step in the development of Payconiq as a European payment service," said Duke Prins, Payconiq Chief Executive Officer.
The move comes after the company joined forces in August with Luxembourg fintech startup Digicash Payments, a mobile payments service offered by a number of banks in the Grand-Duchy.
