On Monday 3 October 2016, hundreds of Luxembourgish SMEs attended Security Made in Luxembourg’s first ever #Cybersecurity4Success event.
The one-day event took place as part of the European Month of Cybersecurity in the premises of the Chamber of Commerce as part of the governmental initiative “Digital Luxembourg”. The day was organised by Security Made in Luxembourg in collaboration with the Representative of the European Commission in Luxembourg, the Chamber of Commerce and its Enterprise Europe Network as well as the House of Training.
The awareness event allowed participants to consult experts in cybersecurity in order to gain practical advice and recommendations for better handling security risks in their businesses.
The Chamber of Commerce’s Managing Director Carlo Thelen referred to the implementation of an information security policy as a major component of business strategy, especially for SMEs.
