Formerly known as the Cybersecurity Expertise Centre when announced last October by Luxembourg's Secretary of State for Economy, Francine Closener, at Luxembourg’s first Cybersecurity Day hosted by PwC, the Cybersecurity Competence Centre will be based in part on the knowledge, experience and skills attained by governmental initiatives such as CASES (the promotion of IT security in businesses) and CIRCL (post-incident coordination and action services).
