An American property insurance company will open a European hub in Luxembourg, it has been confirmed.

A spokesman for FM Global said on Tuesday the industrial and commercial property insurer is planning a European hub in Luxembourg.

This comes after American International Group (AIG) last month announced its plans to open a branch in Luxembourg as a result of Brexit.
