This restaurant is a bit a "new entry" for Le Marche, because only recently has gained its fame among the bungustai. In fact it is a very particular reality and because it is not the first with the same proposal it could represents a trend. Ok! We need to start saying that this place ranks fifth in Tripadvisor, 5th among 3151 restaurants in Le Marche. This restaurant has very few seats and now, with the bad season, loses the ability to host outside. It is a Butcher - Charcuterie - Rotisserie shop with "Osteria" attached. Poesia a Tavola, that mean "poetry at the table", serves the traditional cuisine of Le Marche, prepared every day from fresh produce. The restaurant uses all the products from the owned shop. Meat, cured meats, cheeses and fresh non-GMO vegetables, are locally produced or grown in the nearby countryside. Here the list of the dishes you can find also in the internet site: • Vincisgrassi • Cannelloni • Sugo di cinghiale • Sugo con papera • Cinghiale in salmì • Maialino arrosto • Trippa • Pollo arrosto • Porchetta • Baccalà fritto • Coda alla vaccinara • Baccalà arrosto • Fagioli con le cotiche • Baccalà con le cipolle • Galantina (produzione propria) • Coniglio in porchetta • Fiorentina e tagliata con carni marchigiane • Verdura fritta • Verdure e ortaggi di stagione • Pane cotto a legna • to Sunday during the summer ... sauces and fried fish Enoteca (vini delle Marche) • Rosso Conero • Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi • Rosso Piceno • Verdicchio di Matelica • Rosso Piceno superiore • Falerio • Lacrima di Morro d’Alba • Pecorino • Passerina • Vernaccia di Serrapetrona • Vino di visciola • Vin cotto

The restaurant Antico Borgo is located is situated in the proximity of Frasassi. The kitchen offers a wide range of dishes based on recipes invented new and / or revised by the Chef Owner. Ranked #3 of 2,169 in Marche with 97 positive Tripadvisor Reviews Price range: £13 - £39 €15 - €45 Cuisines: Delicatessen, Italian, International, Wine BarGood for: Child-friendly, Romantic, Business, Local cuisine, Outdoor seating, Special Occasion Dining, ViewDining options: Breakfast/Brunch, Reservations, After-hours Best Recent review on Tripadvisor “A very special restaurant” - Reviewed 15 November 2012. The restaurant had a very pleasant atmosphere, the service was excellent and our meals were cooked according to our individual preferences. The presentation and flavour of the food were delightful and the portions just right. The local wine was good too!“Four Delicious Dinners” - Reviewed 19 September 2012. We stayed at the inn for four nights and chose the very well priced dinner plan, and were so glad we did. The chef, Fabrizio, prepares one menu for all of the guests each night, but is happy to make substitutions if requested. The four courses are simple and incredibly flavorful, reflecting the ingredients and the dishes of the Le Marche region. Over the several evenings, we had beef two nights prepared in different ways (once in lieu of rabbit for us), a veal chop, and a mixed grill of various meats -- all of it well flavored and cooked perfectly. The pastas were particularly good, with a truffle lasagna that was memorable. The first courses were simple, primarily including cheeses and meats, as were the desserts, often including gelato in some form. There is a wide selection of local and regional wines, and the combination of the courses each night worked well together, leaving us happy and full.

In all central Italy is common, in many restaurants, to use a roaring fireplace to grill steaks, chops, chicken, sausages and these simple rib lamb chops, bathed with an olive oil and garlic marinade brushed onto them with rosemary branches. The crisp, brown chops are best when eaten sizzling hot off the fire, so the Italians call them scottadito, meaning "burned fingers."

From a cozy trattoria to an experimental bistro and Michelin-starred luxury One thing that should be eternal about the Eternal City is great Italian food. But that doesn’t mean pizza Napoli or pasta marinara every night. These 10 restaurants range from a cozy trattoria through an experimental bistro to the city’s most Michelin star-spangled establishment. What do they have in common? Not spaghetti bolognese on the kids’ menu. They’re all highly regarded for the Italian culinary niche they serve. Tripadvisor Reviews: “AWESOME after a night at the theatre!” Reviewed 21 July 2012 It has very good food, the waiters are very kind and nice, and it is open until late at night. I love to go there after having gone to the theatre (it is half a mile away from the theatre). I live in Ancona, so trust me it does have good food. It might be a little expensive, depending on what you get. I'm talking about 15-25 euros per person, including something to drink. By the way, they've got pretty good wine over here! “A place for lovers of fish, art and wine” Reviewed 9 July 2012 While in Ancona vivisting relatives, we ate at a wonderful restaurant called "L'Osteria Teatro Strabacco" (Super-Bacchus), with excellent fish dishes, like a carpaccio of very well-soaked salt cod, which just melted in the mouth, with olive oil and lemon and poppy seeds on top, and the typical Anconese salt cod and vegetable dish so loved by Garibaldi and his red-shirts, when here, excellent. There is very interesting art in the pretty dark locale , with suggestive lighting and many neat old knick knacks around on tables and walls to interest one's curiousity, there wasn't any theatre when we were there at lunch, but a large crowd, which didn't feel too pressing as our table felt intimate, with the dark wood and art all around. The wine list is extensive, what else would one expect when it's dedicated to Bacchus?

Efresina was one of seven children born high in the Apennine Mountains in Eastern Italy. She lived in a snowy little village with mountain light and winter gales... Today Efresina’s son Massimo Biagiali runs the Hotel Ristorante Giardino with his wife Patrizia. He is also a builder, and has developed a highly enviable wine cellar.
