The restaurant Il Tiglio has born 25 years ago in Montemonaco, a beautiful village in the mountain side in southern Le Marche. The restaurant has nice atmosphere in an elegant and sophisticated dining room evoked also by the mighty presence of the Sibillini Mounts. The dishes are delicious, the presentation vibrant and creative and the Chef, with a great imagination, is always experimenting new combinations without compromising the quality. Good is the selection of local wines available: Rosso Piceno, Marche Rosso IGT, Pecorino, Passerina, Rosso Offida, Falerio dei Colli Ascolani.
The average meal includes six plates; three appetizers, two first courses and a second course: home-made bread with olive oil choice of salts; light courgette fritters; deep fried stuffed olives; soft cheese with a smoky cured ham; a fish-based soup; riccotta souffle; open ravioli with mushrooms, chestnuts and pork, as dessert a mousse studded with caramelised almonds and decorated with dried wild flowersand (only an example)

The use of the boat at restaurant La Torre is free behind booking. The guests can enjoy italian "aperitivi", lunches, romantic dinners, which take away, ready prepared by the restaurant. The magnificent view of the Riviera del Conero and the Gulf of Numana is included in the program and it is absolutely a stunning way to enjoy the food and a good company. The formula take away includes:

4 different and tasty appetizersa "primo piatto" the classic italian first course (pasta, risotto)the main course, an important mixed fish grill or mixed fried fishdessertProsecco, an Italian sparkling wine; generally a Dry or Extra Dry that is conquering the world with its bubbles
wine and beverages.

The dining excursion that starts from the Numana's Marina and ends in Portonovo comes with a couple of stops to swim in the exclusive waters of one of the most beautiful enviroments in europe.  After, the meal (for lunch or dinner) is served in the boat .  The tour lasts 3:30 / 4 hours and the departures time is at 10/10: 30 or 17/17: 30. The boat leaves with a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 12 people.  The cost is 60 € per person.

“A very special restaurant” - Reviewed 15 November 2012. The restaurant had a very pleasant atmosphere, the service was excellent and our meals were cooked according to our individual preferences. The presentation and flavour of the food were delightful and the portions just right. The local wine was good too!“Four Delicious Dinners” - Reviewed 19 September 2012. We stayed at the inn for four nights and chose the very well priced dinner plan, and were so glad we did. The chef, Fabrizio, prepares one menu for all of the guests each night, but is happy to make substitutions if requested. The four courses are simple and incredibly flavorful, reflecting the ingredients and the dishes of the Le Marche region. Over the several evenings, we had beef two nights prepared in different ways (once in lieu of rabbit for us), a veal chop, and a mixed grill of various meats -- all of it well flavored and cooked perfectly. The pastas were particularly good, with a truffle lasagna that was memorable. The first courses were simple, primarily including cheeses and meats, as were the desserts, often including gelato in some form. There is a wide selection of local and regional wines, and the combination of the courses each night worked well together, leaving us happy and full.
