We were honored to have Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger and Jeff Skiles of “Miracle on the Hudson” fame serve as our honorary Young Eagles Chairmen from 2009 through 2013. One of the great things about getting to know these two gentlemen was seeing how passionate they are about all aspects of aviation. We were thrilled when they had the opportunity to get checked out in a beautifully restored Douglas DC-7, a true classic from the golden age of airline travel. We were even more excited when we got to send one of our videographers along to tell the story.
