Did you know that PBS has a portal for students? It provides resources for art, math, science, social studies, language arts, health, and NOVA Labs. You will need to create a teacher account (click on this link to get to that page: http://www.pbslearningmedia.org/ You will need to click on LogIn (upper right hand corner) and will be given the option of creating a new account. There are several tools offered to help make life easier for teachers. You will find a Lesson Plan Builder, a Quiz Creator and StoryBoard tools. You can then create accounts for your students. The site will give them access to your material as well as additional resources. You will find over 700 resources in Spanish. PBS provides access to many great programs. This site may be useful for projects or specific units.

PBS is a great resource and this post from Mind/Shift highlights a number of their best resources. The grade range spans Grades 2 - 12, with a focus on Grades 6 - 12. Several also include professional development opportunities available online to help with a specific resource.
