Seesaw is my go-to tool for making digital portfolios. I like it because it's a versatile platform that can be used for more than just portfolio creation. You can use it as a blog, use it to share announcements with parents, use it to distribute assignments, and you can use it to create whiteboard videos.

Seesaw es una nueva herramienta que permite potenciar la creatividad, porque son los propios estudiantes los que “capturan su aprendizaje” haciendo fotos a sus creaciones, a sus trabajos y a sus actividades. Nuestros alumnos pueden añadir sus fotos, notas, dibujos o vídeos. Todo esto se puede compartir con los otros estudiantes, con los familiares (en primaria es fundamental) o con cualquier persona a la que permitamos el acceso a nuestra clase.

Seesaw, a free digital portfolio platform, offers a handy instruction sheet to distribute to students to guide them in the process of joining your Seesaw classroom. That instruction sheet is available as a Google Document. If you want to edit it to better meet your needs and or share with your students to save in their Google Drive accounts, you will need to first save a copy of it in your Google Drive account. In the video embedded below I demonstrate how to make a copy of a public Google Drive file.

SeeSaw supports uploading videos, documents, slideshows, and audio recordings. Students can also include hyperlinks in their digital portfolios.
