The latest update to Google Drive has brought about some interesting performance-enhancing features one of which is the new templates gallery for Slides, Sheets and Docs. The gallery comprises a verity of pre-designed templates arranged into different categories such as Work, Education, and Personal. These templates are a good way to get you started creating a file with a specific purpose, ‘for example a resume in Docs, a budget plan in Sheets, or a project proposal in Slides, you can quickly get started by using a template.’

They come pre-designed, you only need to tweak them a little bit to fit your own presentational needs. You can change text font, import images, delete or edit slides and when you are done, you have plenty of options on how to share your presentations with others. To access these templates, head over to slides.google.com and click on 'Template gallery' in the top right. They are located under the category 'Education' in the bottom of the page.
