Flippity is a very good tool that you can use on Google  Spreadsheets to create flashcards and quizzes. The flashcards you create can be either printed or shared online through a generated link. The process to create a flashcard using Google Spreadsheet is pretty easy

After posting about the recent updates to Google Sheets, I received an email from one of my readers here inEducational Technology and Mobile Learning asking about how to create  a chart in a Google Spreadsheet. Looking into my archive I found out this video tutorial provided by John Sowash . The tutorial which is 4  minutes long will walk you through a step by step process of  how to use the intuitive chart editor to create and insert colourful charts and graphs into a  Google Docs spreadsheet.

For those of you who are already familiar with the features of Google Spreadsheets, you probably already know that to insert an image you need to use insert image menu option, but this actually does not work the way we want it. It usually does not place the image inside the cell and it only puts it on top of the spreadsheet.

To insert one or a couple of images into a cell in a spreadsheet you need to use the =IMAGE Spreadsheet function. I invite you to watch the video below to learn how to do this. Enjoy
