Creating digital portfolios is a great way to empower students voice and motivate them to actively engage in the learning process. Learning, however, is a process, a life-long one and we need to approach it as such. Portfolios emphasize the 'process' nature in learning and represent it as a social practice. Through portfolios students get to showcase their learning, document their progress, and express their voice.

“Sites” es una de las aplicaciones disponibles de Google que se usa dentro del entorno G Suite. Aunque no es necesario tener una cuenta de Google Educación. Con esta app puedes crear páginas web y publicar para que pueda consultarla cualquier persona, o limitar a los usuarios del centro educativo. 
Cualquiera con una cuenta de Google puede hacer uso de esta app. No pienses que es una herramienta pobre. Puedes construir la web que tengas en mente. Da igual si tienes conocimientos sobre diseño web. Es muy sencillo. Y olvídate de guardar. Los cambios se van guardando mientras modificas tu nuevo site. 

Google Sites es una aplicación online ofrecida por la empresa estadounidense Google como parte de la suite de productividad de G Suite. Esta aplicación permite crear un sitio web o una Intranet de forma muy sencilla.
Con Google Sites los usuarios pueden reunir en un único lugar y de una forma rápida información variada, como pueden ser vídeos, calendarios, presentaciones, archivos, etc.

There are a couple ways to enable collaboration on Google Sites. The first is to click the "share with others" icon in the upper-right corner of the Google Sites editor and then enter your students' email addresses. The other method is to share your Google Site as an assignment in Google Classroom and allow students to edit the file. Both methods are demonstrated in the following video.
