The Edublogs support team gets a lot of emails about the best way to add certain types of content to a blog. Often users are looking for a widget or a plugin that can help them embed content. What many users don’t realize is that you can embed lots of content just by pasting a simple URL into your blog post.

Una de las principales dudas de los profesores cuando comienzan con un blog es el tema de los archivos que se pueden subir y publicar. ¿Puedo subir un PowerPoint? ¿Cómo hago una presentación de fotos? ¿Puedo poner un Documento Word para que lo lean mis alumnos? etc. son preguntas muy comunes al comenzar a trabajar con un blog educativo. He elaborado una presentación donde podéis ver qué archivos admiten las plataformas Blogger y Wordpress y con qué herramientas 2.0 se pueden publicar los archivos que NO se pueden subir a los servidores del blog.

This give us even more reason to give thought to the Insight we add to our Scoop.it Stories. Not for the convetional SEO link juice dance rather being able to give your Reader a summary and compeling CTA on who, what, when and why they should take time to click through to read your submission and maybe add you to their social sphere

a CTA is a "Call to Action". Something you ask your readers to do specifically.

You can embed prezis to tons of different places with the help of just a simple piece of HTML code. This embed code is very easy to get your hands on, and once you have it, it opens a world of possibilities. The next thing to know is that different service providers support the embedding of HTML code in different ways. The good news is that we’ve put together a neat little list of some of the ways that you can embed your awesome prezis into some pretty popular sites. These were all tested by us. If the service you are looking for is not included, it does not mean that a prezi cannot be embedded with that service, it just means that we have not got round to testing it out ourselves. I am a big proponent of creating a “digital haversack” where your classroom website contains all of the resources both you as a teacher and your students would need. If I create a slideshow, I will embed it into the daily agenda for students to go through. Parents can also view this to help direct the questions they ask their kids at home. For me, I launch the presentation from the website. I find if I use the daily agenda as the place where I place information I will need, I can ensure that students and parents will have access to those as well.
