Huge shout out to the one-and-only John ‘Lion Claws” Lu for all of his personal and professional support over the years for our little airsoft news adventure, going all the way back to a SHOT Show Shoutout with Angel Ksenia in ‘Vegas. And, while he and his player/minnions have been pushing and prodding to get Thumpy to an event ever since, we PROMISE we’ll be showing up in 2016..hey, we gotta get into that 2017 Calendar somehow!

“First ever Tactical Challenge among planes! Nine companies sent representatives to compete in this challenge. Location management promised to look for more Air Stairs (Need those to get on the jumbo jets) if we return (cost…yaks!). We said this was a CHALLENGE and it was. Results: Third place-Amped Airsoft via Team Boogyman of UT (5-man team). Second place-KWA via Team Disposable Heroes (8-man team) of CA. First place-ICS via Team Fox of CO (6-man team). As in REAL challenges, results are often not what was anticipated but glad to see all put in earnest effort! Congratulations to all contestants and a big THANK YOU to OpFor and staff for a groundbreaking experiment. We’ll learn from this project, improve on it, and, perhaps hope for a round II…”

There will be FOUR COs running IRENE in the 2015 epic battle! Col.(RET) McKnight’s Rangers, MSG (RET) Mullen’s “Delta” will fight against the “Somali National Army” led by Sgt. Igor Dobroff along with “Somali Civilian Fighters” led by SFC (RET) “Bubba” Moore!

From Shanty Town to Afghan Village, from West Woods to Cement Factory, from Train Wreck to Subway, this massive battle ground will test your skills and endurance.

A $10,000.00 check will be presented to a representative from the Special Operations Warrior Foundation on Sunday during Closing Ceremony per our annual IRENE tradition.
