“PLYMOUTH, Calif. (KCRA) —Ten-year-old Owen is no stranger to airsoft pistols. He’s knows what they look like, feel like, and how to shoot.
But Sunday afternoon while at an airsoft shooting field in Plymouth, he picked up what he thought was an airsoft pistol.

“I pick it up, go to give it to the ref or responsible adult and slips, and it discharges,” Owen said….”
There are a number of stories online about this incident…but we like this one primarily because we hear from the 10 year old player and his father…and while they demonstrate the proper gun safety knowledge, the kids involve did end up firing a real gun…”accidental” discharges don’t just happen…and the deputy needs to be held fully accountable.
