TheBottomline- ManILoveThisAd-2014 Kia Soul Hamster Commercial (Lady Gaga "Applause" Official Song)

Here in TheBottomline I’ve added a section that I Like called ManILoveThisAd.  This will be a review of the ads that I see and like online and television.

The ad I’ve chosen today is the KIA Soul Hamster spot (who don’t love these hamsters?).  This spot is one of my favorites right now.  This spot is all about transformation.  It’s funny, informative and it works.  To see the Hamsters transform themselves with personal development and to watch the creation and polishing of the new KIA Soul in parallel time is a nice touch.  As the car get’s a makeover, so does the hamsters.  This spot hit all the right point for a lot of demos(the shoe shot when they leave the car is classic, I love the first step they take on the red carpet).  Here’s the grade:

CREATIVE- 5($$$$$) great job..

CONTENT- 5($$$$$) dead on…

TARGET- 5($$$$$) very impactive……

STICK- 5($$$$$) can’t wait to see it again…

BUZZ- 4($$$4) even though I loved it, I’m not sure how well it’s trending, but man I love this spot…….

TOTAL- 24pts out of 25pts(grade A+)  Like I said I love this spot.  It’s engaging and entertaining.

It's sleeker, sexier and more sophisticated than ever. And we're not just talking about the 2014 Kia Soul. The formerly frumpy Kia Hamsters have totally tran...

TheBottomline- Nothing Is Impossible

TheBottomline- Nothing Is Impossible | TheBottomlineNow | Scoop.it

“Nothing Is Impossible”

You know, many times people’s realms of faith is based on their life experience.  Some people fail and quit ( “It hurts to bad”) and other fail and learn (“wow that was expensive”) but the one who succeeds learns from their experience.

America needs more entrepreneur right now.  Entrepreneurship will help Americans get back on their feet.  I don’t care if it’s just a hot dog stand as long a you as a person believe in what you’re doing, then “Engage” (in my best Jean Luc Picard voice).

Sometimes things that seem impossible are just a reminder that you have to be more creative in how you approach to your equation.  Everything (even your business) is a Rubiks cube waiting to be solved.  It’s all in how you look at the process.  It’s all in your methods.  Sometimes failing is life telling you to adjust how you’re looking at the problem.  Example “I need more customers”, when you might need to look at things as “What can I do to make my product experience more valuable to potential customers.”  Its all in how we see things.

So yes, if you believe it, the more than likely then that’s what you’ll see.  In a nutshell, “People who look for bullshit find it”.  “People who look for opportunities also find them”

Let’s look for the possible because “you’re possible”

TheBottomline- ManILoveThisAd-Official Call of Duty®: Ghosts Live-Action Trailer - "Epic Night Out"

OMG I love this ad (Sinatra still is the king when it comes to pitch music).  This “Call Of Duty” Ghosts ad is off the chain.  These 4 guys are a movie waiting to happen.  This ad is not only entertaining but it’s very engaging.  The subtleties in this ad are really smooth.  In 60 seconds you’re in the game and out by the 60 seconds.  The Megan Fox cameo is nice (right out of Transformers).  The big guy in the group has great moving shots.  This is a great ad.  Here’s the grade:

CREATIVE- 5($$$$$) come on man look at this ad LOL….

CONTENT- 5($$$$$) you got the message…

TARGET- 5($$$$$) Dead on……..

STICK- 5($$$$$) all the gamers and non gamers will look up on this ad (adding the Sinatra music also engaged and older demo game player)……

BUZZ- 5($$$$$) it is Christmas……….

TOTAL 25pt out of 25pts (dead on A+ grade)

SoCal Realtor: People Are Flipping Homes Like Crazy, And The Least Informed Buyers Are Making The Market

SoCal Realtor: People Are Flipping Homes Like Crazy, And The Least Informed Buyers Are Making The Market | TheBottomlineNow | Scoop.it
A 1,800-sq-.ft. home in Rancho Santa Fe that in October 2012 was listed at $875,000 but has since climbed 42% to $1.24 million
Reginald Shipman's insight:

Isn't this what's got us into trouble in the first place.  That someone would pay $750.000 for this house is insane.  Cali has always been it's own monster when it comes to real estate but that shoppers are not caring about the price can only mean loose funding and very lenient underwriting.  $750,000.00 at a minimum is $5000.00 to $7000.00 a month, based on your down payment.  20% of $750.000.00 is $150,000.00 to the bank off the rip putting the loan at 600,000.00 off the jump.  At a motgage payment of mimimum of $5000.00 a month, that would mean your debt to equity ratio would be at you making $20,000.00 a month (roughly $240,000.00 a year), and buddy your 7 year actuary run or odds of making that is at  7 to 3 or maybe as high as 8 to 2 that you will fail.  We really got to get a grip on these home prices.  On 750,000.00 dollars a year we're talking about 25,000 to 30,000 dollars a year and that really a lot of money that you could put to making some money over time
