Salesforce has agreed to acquire enterprise analytics startup BeyondCore, according to a blog post from BeyondCore CEO Arijit Sengupta.

The deal will enable Salesforce to enhance the artificial intelligence capabilities of its Analytics Cloud, CEO Marc Benioff noted in a tweet confirming the agreement.

“At Salesforce, BeyondCore will be uniquely positioned to further magnify our impact on the world of analytics as part of the Analytics Cloud, extending smart data discovery and advanced analytics capabilities across the entire Salesforce Customer Success Platform,” wrote Sengupta.

Salesforce today announced that it has acquired data analytics company BeyondCore. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. The team will be working on Salesforce’s Analytics Cloud.

In a sense, BeyondCore overlaps with the Salesforce Analytics Cloud by virtue of its ability to chart data — even though the company emphasizes on its website that it extends beyond “typical visualization tools.”
