Aviso, which provides sales forecasting enhanced with machine learning for businesses, today announced a funding round of $8 million.

Based in Menlo Park, California, the startup sells software as a service (SaaS) that provides predictive analytics meant to help companies sell more. “Managers provide data-driven coaching sessions and sales teams take action early to close deals faster with insights powered by AI (artificial intelligence),” Michael Lock, chief executive of Aviso, wrote in an email to VentureBeat.
