Procter & Gamble's timely deal with US Figure Skating is quite clever. |
The International Testing Agency has confirmed that there is an appeal ongoing to the courts after the Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) lifted the suspension on the figure skating star Kamila Valieva. She was accused early in the games of potential doping in which she responded she “mixed up” her grandfather's heart pills and pills of her own. This is a part of a long list of scandals going on in the winter games. This decision by RUSADA to lift the suspension now allows Valieva to participate at the Beijing olympics in 2022, including training yesterday. This unfair advantage and downright cheating by the Russian teams is starting to really affect the outlook of the Olympics. Although the Olympics is the biggest event of the year for many of these athletes, the honesty and integrity of the games are quickly dwindling. Clearly Valieva and the Russians know what they are doing, and just plan on never being caught. They were also accused and are in denial of swapping out bad blood samples at these games. Inside sources in the Olympics have deemed this rumor true but has yet to go public. Already leading her team to a medal, Valieve, as it stands, will be free to compete in the rest of her events including the women's singles event which is due to start next Tuesday (February 15).
