McLeod, in my opinion, has made some of the best presentation videos on the role of technology in education. This one, from TEDxDesMoines, was published on Sept. 9, 2013. In it, he gives examples of numerous young people who are accomplishing amazing feats using the power of the Internet...all in settings outside of, rather than inside, school. His compelling argument...why do school seem to fear, rather than encourage, this type of learning?
