Sébastien Verbert 12/05/14 : "De retour en France, après avoir passé deux jours très intenses à Montréal pour le Sommet Mondial de l’iPad, je vais prendre quelques minutes pour vous faire partager mes découvertes outre-Atlantique. Deux éléments me viennent immédiatement à l’esprit…

L'objectif de la start-up est de permettre aux graphistes de garder les mêmes sensations que lorsqu'ils griffonnent de simples croquis sur un bloc notes, tout en apportant les fonctionnalités avancées offertes par les applications d'un iPad…

Making Future Magic : "iPad light painting

This film explores playful uses for the increasingly ubiquitous ‘glowing rectangles’ that inhabit the world. Timo Arnall, Campbell Orne and Jack Schulze use photographic and animation techniques that were developed to draw moving 3-dimensional typography and objects with an iPad. In dark environments, they play movies on the surface of the iPad that extrude 3-d light forms as they move through the exposure. Multiple exposures with slightly different movies make up the stop-frame animation…

Turn your iPad into a wireless whiteboard! Annotate PDF documents and images live. You can now project PDF documents (exported PowerPoint or Keynote decks) to a computer on the same local network, then annotate them in real time, all from your iPad.

Air Sketch is great for presentations in the boardroom, classroom, or on the go. Just fire up Air Sketch on the iPad and open the specified URL from any HTML-5 compatible browser on the local network. Your photos and drawings show up natively in the browser. There's no proprietary client software to install, or services to subscribe to…

A disruption to current eWhiteBoards Makers... You could be left out of the game sooner than you think, the survival of the fittest at a pace never seen before. Today you are the king of hill (the Alfa Male), tomorrow you are nothing.

Study how Mikel Jordan kept being the best NBA player as he aged, and follow suit…

a) Change before they make you change.

b) Be the leader not the follower, adapt your core competences not to theirs but to the environents and train at changing them as the Environment Evolves.

c) Know more of the new incumbents and competitors than they even do of themselves.

d) Set the pace, study & read the facts, play offense and defense at the same time, remember the best defense is a well planned offense. e) At the end this game (business) is about who scores most, not about of how many possible home runs you made the others forfeit. So you'll have to be offensive, make safe bets, in order to score.

Ufo Rennes : "Pure revolution | UnlimitedCities

The city is a permanent construction. The application’s intention is not to find a preferred image of the city but simply to allow its inhabitants to express their own opinion of the city. Above all, it allows them to see the city as malleable and modifiable, and as a space that belongs to them…
