Le centre d'Observation de la Terre de la JAXA a mis à disposition gratuitement une cartographie radar couvrant la totalité du globe, téléchargeable sur une plateforme dédiée. Cette cartographie a été réalisée à partir des données recueillies pendant quatre ans par le satellite ALOS, de 2007 à 2010.
