Kayla Parkinson's curator insight, April 26, 2020 8:23 AM
It is great to see VR and AR being used in schools, even in regional Queensland. On my placement, the school had quality headsets that were used by the digital technologies subjects. It would be great to see these being used in other subjects throughout the school. In the business classroom, students could virtually be behind the doors of world-re-known businesses. They could see the world's most famous restaurants at peak times and perfect their skills with customers in a virtual and augmented environment.
Trent Samuel's curator insight, May 8, 2020 12:43 AM
This page clearly shows how digital learning in schools are continuing to improve and get to levels i would have never expected to see. This website is about the use of VR and AR being used in schools. Throughout my placements I haven't yet seen this type of digital technologies implemented in schools but would be great to see and use as part of a HPE unit. The possibilities are endless for students involved in a sporting unit using this technology.

Corey Redsell's curator insight, May 10, 2020 2:50 AM
Interesting view on how different technology can shape the future of education. The video highlighted how AR has been used with medical students practicing procedures to gain experience. I agree with Kayla as I believe both AR and VR can play a crucial role in connecting content to real world situations.
