Blogs vs. Term Papers

Blogs vs. Term Papers | Social Media Classroom | Scoop.it
To raves and rants, blogging has become a requirement in everything from M.B.A. to literature courses. (Should educators exchange term papers for blogs as a way to teach writing in the digital age?

 

While I don't believe this is an "either/or" situation, I have started to use more digital productions as means of assessment.  Our students are consumers of digital information and to be prepared for the workforce of the future, they will need to have experience being producers of knowledge that can use digital formats to disseminate that information.
