Second Life Destinations

Noelia Island is both a Mediterranean-themed island archipelago destination and a Buddhist spiritual retreat center. While the combination might appear to be incongruous at first, it all works well together. This is generally a natural and realistically proportioned landscape with nice touches such as fields of wildflowers in proportion to the pathways which transverse the main island. The statue of Buddha (show below) is particularly striking in a dusk light setting when moonrays and fantasy lights combine to produce a magical effect. I highly recommend a visit.

Luane's World (I have added the possessive apostrophe) is a very attractive island that has been designed by Luane Meo with photographers and romance in mind. Luane's island design emphasizes rocky cliffs and crashing waves in a springtime setting with fields of wildflowers. The obligatory lighthouse, with stripes and a stone base is complemented by stone clifftop structures. The use of scaled textures gives a sense of depth and realism that is one of the best I have seen.
